To understand your situation better, can you provide some information about:
- Are you using a personal account or work/school account (gmail, hotmail, yahoo,… or your account have a company or school name)?
- If you're using a work/school account, do you have any admin roles in your tenant? For reference: How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin? - Microsoft Support
- Are you using modern Teams or classic Teams?
- What type of operating system is the affected device(Windows, MacOs, iOS, Android,…)?
In the meantime, you can try these additional steps to troubleshoot your issue:
Network & Firewall Checks
- Switch Networks: Try a wired connection or mobile hotspot.
- Firewall Exception: Temporarily disable your firewall. If Teams loads, add an exception for it.
- Then reboot your PC.
Clear Teams Cache
You’ve already done this, but make sure you also clear:
- %localappdata%\Microsoft\Teams
- %programdata%\Microsoft\Teams
- %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Teams
Restart your PC after clearing all these folders.
Full Reinstallation
- Uninstall Teams via Settings > Apps.
- Delete all Teams folders from:
- %appdata%
- %localappdata%
- %programdata%
- (Optional) Clean registry entries if you're comfortable.
- Reboot your PC.
- Download and install the latest version from Microsoft Teams on Download Microsoft Teams Desktop and Mobile Apps | Microsoft Teams.
