I have tried hard reset, uninstalling HIB drivers and reinstalling, have managed to delete office and the cover-keyboard doesn't work. How do I fix the keyboard and restore office

      • Open Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
      • Click on Check for updates and install any pending updates.

Step 4: Test the Keyboard on Another Surface or Device ( Optional )

    • If possible, test the keyboard on another Surface device or a compatible Windows tablet to ensure the keyboard itself is not faulty.

The first thing to do is hold down the power button for 30 seconds or do until you see the Winfows logo. Does the keyboard work or not? If not, boot to the UEFI and see if you can use the keyboard cursor keys to navigate the menus. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/surface/how-to-use-surface-uefi-df2c8942-dfa0-859d-4394-95f45eb1c3f9. If the keyboard does not work in the UEFI it is a hardware problem. See if you can borrow a friends keyboard and see if it works.
