How to change notification timeframe in Planner?

Good day and thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum. I completely understand how helpful it would be to get earlier or multiple reminders for upcoming tasks in Planner. 

Unfortunately, Planner’s current design only sends email notifications 7 days before a due date, and there isn’t a built-in way to customize this to 30 days or add additional reminders. I know this might not be the answer you were hoping for, and I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.  This is the default setting in the Notifications section of Planner, and there is no option to change this period to 30 days or other milestones, you can see the documentation directly here: Stay updated with notifications in Planner - Microsoft Support

• Set an earlier due date (e.g., mark the task due 23 days early to trigger the 7-day notice at your preferred 30-day mark). 
• Use Microsoft to Do or Outlook Tasks, which offer more flexible reminders and can sync with Planner tasks.
