- Click the OneDrive cloud icon in the system tray (bottom-right corner).
- If it shows “Not syncing” or an error, hover over the icon to read the status message.
Option 2: Restart OneDrive
- Closing and reopening the app often resolves temporary sync issues
- Open run dialog box Windows key + R then type this command
- %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\onedrive.exe /reset
Option 3: Review sync settings
- Right-click the OneDrive icon > Settings > Sync and Backup > Manage Backups.
- Make sure the folders you want to sync are selected
Option 4: Sign Out and Back In
- Go to Settings > Account > Unlink this PC.
- Sign back in with your Microsoft account and reconfigure sync settings.
Option 5: Update OneDrive
- Open the Microsoft Store and check for OneDrive updates.
- Keeping OneDrive updated helps resolve known sync issues.
