- Are you using Windows 10 or Windows 11?
- What is the model of your device? In the search bar, type MSINFO32 and hit Enter. Please share a screenshot of that window.
To determine or fix this issue, please run the keyboard troubleshooter.
Click the Start button. Go to Settings > System or Update and Security > Troubleshoot. Click Additional troubleshooters. Choose Keyboard, and then Run the troubleshooter.
Roll back, use an older driver or uninstall the keyboard driver: a. Press the Windows key + X, and choose Device Manager.
b. Expand keyboards
c. Right-click Standard PS/2 keyboard, and select 'properties'
d. Click the driver tab then hit 'Roll back driver'.
e. If the issue persists, repeat steps a-c then select 'Update driver.'
f. Choose "Browse my computer for driver software"
g. Click "Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer."
h. Select an older driver from the list and click 'Next.'
i. Follow the onscreen instructions.
j. if the problem continues, repeat a-c and hit uninstall device
k. Restart your computer(not shutdown) then check if the issue is resolved.
Disable Sticky and Filter Keys
Click on the Start button and choose Settings. Go to Ease of access, then select Keyboard. Turn off the Use Sticky Keys, Use toggle keys, and Use filter keys section. Restart your computer and check.
