    Hi @Courtney Hendey,

Good day! Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A forum and sharing your experience.

Regarding the customized Teams chat emoji that you need to delete but are unable to. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like you're trying to delete a custom emoji in Microsoft Teams but are unable to do so. To help me provide the most accurate solution, could you please clarify the following?

    1. What steps are you currently taking to try and delete it?
    2. Are you seeing any specific error messages when you try to delete it? If so, could you please provide the exact wording?
    3. Are you an administrator of the Team/Channel where it was added (if applicable)?

In Teams, the ability to delete custom emojis may be restricted depending on your organization's admin settings. If you're seeing the emoji but not the delete option when right-clicking on it, it's likely that deletion permissions are limited by your Teams admin. I recommend contacting your Microsoft 365 administrator (Only Teams admins can delete custom emojis by default) to verify whether emoji deletion is enabled for your account. Additionally, please note that even after deletion, it may take a few days for the emoji to disappear for all users across the organization.

To check or enable them (for Teams Admins):

    1. Go to https://admin.teams.microsoft.com
    2. Navigate to Teams > Messaging Policies
    3. Select the policy assigned to your account (e.g., “Global”)
    4. Ensure that “Use custom emojis” and “Delete custom emojis” are both set to On
