My old laptop is dead and cannot be restarted. So, how do I get my Microsoft Office loaded onto my new laptop?

    Hello!

Go to the website below > Sign in with your Microsoft Account that has Microsoft Office > Click Subscription > Install Desktop Versions... > Install.

    https://account.microsoft.com/account

When you download Microsoft Office, install it and open it when finished > Open Word, Excel, or another Office app > Sign in with your Microsoft Account to activate your license.

I am not able to activate my microsoft office on my new laptop. I get the error that it has reached its max. I cannot take it off the old one because it is dead. There are also duplicate accounts and the account that the product is on says "The Microsoft account you've entered does not exist". I have the Product Key but I still cannot do anything due to the system thinks the product is still on the dead computer. I have license for desktop and laptop. Can you help? TY!! Also because of the account mix up, I cannot transfer my OneDrive docs. I guess I will have to copy on to an external drive and manually place in the onedrive on new laptop. Brother...!
