Please i need your help on this issue.
Devices missing as location in DLP policy.
I have been using Endpoint DLP for many months now and created several policies that target "Devices" as the location in my DLP policy.
This week when either creating new policies or editing any existing policies, the location for "Devices" is not present in the list of locations available to target my policy to.
Devices are still showing as onboarded and visible in Purview, so this is not a cause.

Screenshot 1 shows one of my DLP polices and the location targeted
Devices Screenshot 2 shows me editing that policy with the Devices location not present?
My account is a Global Admin and holds the Information Protection Admin and Compliance Admin roles too.
I have not made any changes in my environment to cause this behaviour. It has just stopped working?

Would you kindly check to see if this is now resolved. Based on some Internal investigation, you should be able to see the Devices option if you refresh the page.
hi @Pauline Mbabu Unfortunately, a simple refresh does not restore the Devices location on my side. The option is still missing when creating or editing a DLP policy, even though my devices remain onboarded and visible in Purview. Could you please provide the exact steps to resolve this and restore the Devices location in the DLP policy UI?

Try performing a forced browser cache refresh (Ctrl+F5 or Ctrl+Shift+R) to ensure the updated interface is properly loaded. Tell me if this helps.

The forced cache refresh does not resolve it. This has been ongoing for the past couple of days, and I’m seeing other admins reporting the same behavior as well.
If there’s a known issue or incident tracking this, could you also share the bug/incident ID ?

Yes, there was an issue already raised internally for this. I will forward this issue as it seems to still be happening for some people. Is your tenant a public tenant?

There is an internal Incident management tool that this issue was Logged and based on the status of that issue, it was resolved for several tenants but there are some specific tenants that they were still following up on. I have informed the engineer that we have more tenants that are still having this issue and once they get back, I will reach out back to you.
Since this might be tenant specific, you can also raise a support ticket then share it with me and I can follow up on it.

Nothing changed for us when we cleared the browser cache, refreshed the page and tried to create a new policy.
