Why has the "reply" option has disappeared in MS Teams chats?

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A Forum.

    Currently, to reply in Microsoft Teams chat, you can use the option Reply with quote as shown in your attached.

    After clicked on the reply with quote, the reply message will be shown as below:

    I just shake my head and quietly utter the words WHY, WHY oh WHY....... It amazes me when persons need to be better than others and try to re-interpret the REPLY button... PLEASE just go back to the simple way of life and REPLY....
