How to disable that ever dreadful co-pilot?

I absolutely despise the co-pilot on Edge!!! I refuse to use it and cannot disable it like the days of yore... I'm now forced to either manually enter my search via the keyboard on my Android phone or go to Chrome where I can still hit the microphone icon in the search bar and say what I'm looking for and voila! Guess what I'm using these days?

    Hi Doug,

Nice to meet you! My name is Randy and I'm an independent advisor.

You can try these, open Edge, tap the three-line menu, go to Settings > General > Copilot, and toggle off "Show Copilot" so the icon disappears. If it still talks back, you can check Copilot’s chat settings for voice options or turn off text-to-speech in your phone’s accessibility settings. If you don’t see the Copilot option at all, make sure Edge is updated sometimes the toggle only shows up in newer or beta versions.

    Kind regards.
