I kept getting the same message 'can we change the subject'...I was only asking about beer recipes whilst looking at a page with hop varieties and which combination of hops to use for a specific brew. After the fourth time of 'can we change' etc. I stopped talking to it. About 5 silent minutes later it told me I was suspended. So, none of the criteria Haytham C listed above apply.
Copilot account suspention without no reason
Hello, I was temporarily suspended from Copilot without having violated any rules (as far as I know). I was using the screen sharing feature, and the system kept repeating the phrase “we can change the topic” without responding to my messages. I tried changing the topic, but it kept saying the same thing. I restarted the session, and shortly after, I was blocked for an hour.
I kindly request that you review my case and let me know if there was an error or what I can do to prevent this from happening again.
Thank you for your attention.

2025-09-09T10:12:37.21+00:00 Hello Jorge Sebastian Vivian
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A and informed us about the issue. From your description, I believed that the phrase "we can change the topic" was triggered by Copilot's content moderation system, to steer the topic away from sensitive, controversial subjects that may violate Copilot terms & service. To avoid this from happening in the future, please be mindful of your screen content, you can also refer to this topic Content Safety Moderation. In the meantime, you can also report this issue via Microsoft Feedback Hub and submit your feedback about the issue.
