    Hi Satyasarathi Dhal,

The message “This option is temporarily unavailable” when attempting to sign in via fingerprint or PIN typically indicates a Windows Hello for Business (WHfB) provisioning or connectivity issue. Even with the correct Group Policy settings enabled—including biometric and logon configurations—this error can occur if the device is unable to communicate with the domain controller or complete WHfB enrollment.

    We recommend the following steps:

Ensure the device is connected to the corporate network and can reach the domain controller.

Run dsregcmd /status to verify Azure AD join status and WHfB provisioning.

Confirm that the user has not exceeded PIN retry limits, which can trigger a temporary lockout.

Restart the device and run gpupdate /force to refresh Group Policy settings.

If the issue persists, consider resetting the WHfB credentials via Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options once available.

Let us know if you'd like help reviewing your GPO configuration or running diagnostics.

    Best regards,

    Quinnie Quoc.
