Purview scan using SHIR to on prem RHL hosted postgresql fails with the error

The version of the linked service not supported

I tried replicating by deploying postgres on windows and new version of RHL linux with newer postgres and shows same result.

Microsoft ticket is pending with product team for three weeks. Suggesting API fix and no reponse. Any recommendation and any workaround for postgres. the official MS document supports postgres scan

I have tried and replicated on the newer version and got the same error. Microsoft support team tried the new version on their lab and got the same error. Yes I did not follow the documentation to setup this scan. The only reason I tried to setup SHIR is because document officially supports it. But now my support case is sitting with the Microsoft product team for three weeks without any solution

We're experiencing the same issue at our company. We're getting this exact error: "The version of the linked service is not supported."

The issue appeared four weeks ago.

If you resolve it with any workarounds, please let us know so we can implement them.

Additionally, I note that we ran a test pointing to a non-existent server, with random parameters, and noticed that the same error occurred.

Another important piece of information is that the SHIR's log did not record any anomalies. Apparently, it's not a problem with SHIR, but with the Purview service.
