No Output Device Found. Until today, if I unplugged my headphones from my Surface Laptop 4, it would switch to the internal speaker. Now it finds no output devices. I have restarted the laptop multiple times. I have turned it off for two hours. There are no updates available. This is not about volume settings. Unplug the headphones and the volume drops to zero and shows an X. Plug the headphone in, the volume returns to normal. It's not about using the pulldown menu to choose a device. That is grayed out because it finds no output devices. Again, this is a new issue on a Surface Laptop 4 that i've had for almost three years. The computer has not been moved and was working perfectly fine last night. Today there's no audio device found if I don't have headphones plugged-in.Thsnks

    Hi T,

I understand that you're having sound issues with your Surface Laptop 4. Usuall this happens because of a driver problem or an audio service issue. To fix this, try these few steps.

First, try running the Surface Diagnostic Toolkit. It will help you check lacking updates and drivers and might find issues needs fixing. Next is try this complete guide link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/surface/troubleshoot-surface-sound-and-audio-accessories-41bdae2f-677a-166b-1cda-03e44520992e

Do you use other audio software that might be causing problems? Let me know if these steps do the trick. If not, we'll find another solution. Regards.
