Hello @Andy Wallis
Welcome to Q&A forum!
If my understanding is correct, you're trying to use quiz forms from a group (like a shared team or department) and move them into your personal "My Forms" area so that you can assign them as homework using Microsoft Teams Assignments.
Unfortunately, Microsoft Forms doesn’t have a direct “import” feature from group forms to personal forms, but you can duplicate the form into your own account.
You can copy the group form to your personal form by this guidance:
- Open the group quiz in Microsoft Forms.
- Click "three dots button" in the quiz that you want to copy
- Click on "Copy"
- Then you will see this quiz form is copied to "My form"
- Go to Teams > Assignments > Create > Quiz.
- Select the quiz from your personal list.
Note:
The form you copy from a group into "My Forms" is a template, not the original form.
- The original form in the group stays there and is still owned by the group.
- The copied form in "My Forms" is a new, separate form that looks the same but is owned by you.
- Any responses submitted to the original form will not appear in the copied version — and vice versa.
- You can edit the copied form freely without affecting the original.
Regarding the limitation you've encountered, I understand the inconvenience it has caused, and I sincerely apologize. In this case, what I can do is test the issue and provide you with all the information to help clarify it.
