Laoptop issue working slow on 1 Millon excel record

I have an HP i5 7th generation laptop, and I need to work with an Excel file containing almost 1 million records. Currently, it takes around 40 to 50 minutes just to open the file. Could you please recommend what laptop specifications I should go for so that this file opens instantly?

    Hi Ahmad,

    You should consider checking your RAM as 32 GB is better (16 GB may work but can still be slow)

    Your storage is also an idea to take a look as NVMe SSD (PCIe Gen 4 or Gen 5 preferred). Remember to avoid SATA SSDs and hard drives. Also, the Excel version should be 64-bit as it would use RAM more efficiently.
