Hi @Ryder Nguyen
Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.
I understand you would like to duplicate the same content on both displays while using dual monitor mode during a Teams meeting. Here’s what you might concerned:
Current Teams Rooms Behavior
- In dual monitor mode, Teams Rooms is designed to extend the display:
- Primary screen shows shared content (like presentation, screen share).
- Secondary screen shows meeting participants or gallery view.
- This layout is by design and ensures the best experience for hybrid meetings.
Can Both Screens Show the Same Thing?
- No, during a Teams meeting you cannot make both screens show the same content.
- This is because Teams wants to keep one screen for people and one for content.
When Can You Duplicate Screens?
- You can show the same content on both screens only when you are not in a Teams meeting, for example:
- When you connect your laptop with an HDMI cable for a local presentation.
- When you use Bring Your Own Meeting (BYOM) mode.
Workarounds (Not Officially Supported)
- Forcing Windows to duplicate displays or using an HDMI splitter may achieve this, but these methods are unsupported and could impact security or device stability.
Thank you for your cooperation. I'm looking forward for your reply.
