    Hi @Johannes Kingma,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

To ensure we provide the most accurate support, we kindly ask for clarification on a few key details:

    1. Does Microsoft Teams for Education support HTML formatting in assignment questions or options?
      • This helps confirm whether HTML is allowed at all.
    2. Which HTML tags are supported or sanitized in the assignment editor?
      • This will clarify which tags are stripped out and which ones are safe to use.
    3. Is there a way to preserve formatting like lists (<ul>, <li>) in assignment options?
      • This gets to the heart of your issue - how to keep list formatting.
    4. Are there differences in formatting support between Teams assignments and Microsoft Forms?
      • This helps you decide if switching tools might solve the problem.
    5. What do you expect to see and what's happening instead?

Kindly let me know your responses to the above questions, and feel free to share any other details you think might help us resolve the issue. Please understand that our initial response may not always resolve the issue immediately. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.

I'm looking forward to your response.
