Summary

When using the HTML <datalist> element on Edge for Android, the suggestion list appears, but all options are displayed as empty. Selecting one of the invisible options still correctly fills the input value.

Environment

  • Phone : Samsung A54
  • Android : 14 & 16
  • One UI : 6.1 & 8
  • Edge : 140.0.3485.98 & 141.0.3537.72

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open Edge on an Android device
  2. Navigate to the official MDN datalist example page
  3. Click or tap inside the example input field.
  4. Observe that the options appears but without any text in them.

Expected Outcome

We would like to know:

  • If there is any known workaround for this issue ?
  • If a fix could be considered in a future update of Edge for Android ?

Thank you for reading and have a nice day,

Arthur
