How to obtain storage drivers for an old laptop

I'm attempting to replace an hdd with an ssd 2.5" on my Lenovo ideapad y470 that originally shipped with Windows 7 and want to do a clean install of Windows 10.  Using microsoft's media creation tool on an usb stick to boot from, I get to the point where it asks where to install windows10.  The SSD doesn't show and it suggests I need to provide a driver for it.  I've downloaded the driver package (irst1248.exe) from Lenovo but cannot extract the proper driver files (.inf .sys) to put on a usb stick.  If I run the driver package it proceeds to install on the laptop I'm using. When I extract files from the package, there are no .inf or .sys files (see below). There are none in the .rsrc folder or sub folders either.

What other methods are there to obtain the .inf and .sys files?

The storage driver package is found here: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/ideapad-y-series-laptops/ideapad-y470p/downloads/ds031075-intel-rapid-storage-technology-for-microsoft-windows-8-32-bit-64-bit-ideapad-y470-y570-y471a-y470p?category=Storage

    Hi pocomas,
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum. I'm happy to help.

It's unfortunately that driver package from Lenovo is not extracted, please try the same version from Dell while you are installing Windows 10: Intel Rapid Storage Technology A00 11.5.0.1207
