Screen broadcast not starting on iPad (countdown 3-2-1 but no sharing starts)

I’m using Microsoft Teams on iPad. When I try to share my screen with audio, the countdown (3-2-1) appears, but after that, the broadcast doesn’t start. It just returns to the “Start Broadcast” button again.

I already:

– reinstalled Teams;

– restarted the iPad;

– checked permissions and settings;

– updated to the latest iPadOS.

The issue appeared recently (October 2025). Before that, screen sharing worked fine.

Please investigate — it seems to be a bug in the current version of Teams for iPad.

    Hi @Evija Astašov

    Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum, and I appreciate the effort you’ve already put into troubleshooting. Based on your description, I’ve checked for any recent official announcements or known issues from Microsoft regarding screen sharing on iPad, and so far, there are no reported incidents related to this functionality. To better understand your situation, could you please help with the following:

    • Try signing in to Teams Web on your iPad and attempt screen sharing there. Does the same issue occur?
    • Is anyone else in your organization experiencing the same problem?

    Please note that the first reply may not always resolve the issue immediately or meet all expectations. However, with your patience and additional details, we can work together to find the best possible solution.

    Thank you again for your time and collaboration! Looking forward to your update.
