    Hi @Cynthia Reis,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Regarding to your question about making a file and saving a document in it, to save your documents, you can use any browser, not just Microsoft Edge.

To help you better, could you tell me:

1/ Where are you trying to save your documents from?

For example, are you working in Word, Excel, or another app?

2/ Are you signed in with a personal Microsoft account or a work/school account? (You can check this by clicking your profile icon in the top-right corner of the app or browser.)

3/ What kind of updates are you seeing that are confusing?

If you can describe or screenshot one (with personal information removed), that would be helpful.

4/ What kind of device are you using?

(e.g., Windows laptop, Mac, Chromebook, iPad, etc.)

Please understand that our initial response does not always resolve the issue immediately. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.

Once I have a bit more information, I’ll be able to guide you step-by-step on how to save your documents exactly where you want them.

Thank you for your patience and your understanding. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.

I'm looking forward to your reply.
