First, check if your files are still under C:\Users[your username], Open File Explorer, go to “This PC,” then your main drive (usually C:), and look inside your user folder. If the files are there, you can right-click any folder like Documents or Pictures and choose “Pin to Quick Access” to show them again. If “This PC” doesn’t show your standard folders, open File Explorer Options, set “Open File Explorer to” as “This PC,” then click “Restore Defaults.”

When MS replaced Windows 10 with Windows 11 all of my folders, subfolders, and files under "This PC" disappeared. How do I get access to them via This PC?
