Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A forum.
I understand your frustration at the moment regarding your data on OneDrive is lost. Here are some possible workarounds you can try to resolve the issue;
Try the "Restore your OneDrive" Feature (Microsoft 365 Subscribers)
This is your best option if the recycle bin is empty. It can undo all file activity across your entire OneDrive for the last 30 days.
- On the OneDrive website, select Settings (the gear icon) > "Restore your OneDrive".
- You can choose a date from before you noticed the problem (like "Yesterday") or a custom date and time.
- Review the activity chart and feed to select a restore point, then click "Restore". Any files created after the restore point will be moved to your recycle bin.
Look for Previous File Versions
If you can find a file but its content is wrong, or if a file is missing after trying a full restore, you can check its version history.
- On the OneDrive website or in File Explorer, right-click a file and select "Version history".
- This allows you to view and restore older, auto-saved versions of that file.
Contact Microsoft Support
If else fails, it is best suggested to contact Microsoft Support for more direct assistance.
- Visit this website: Contact - Microsoft Support
- Type Contact in the search box.
- Now click Get help, and Select Contact Support or Sign in to contact support below.
- Go to the Products and services tab, and choose either Microsoft 365 and Office category.
- On the Category tab, choose Manage account subscription.
- Go to Confirm.
- You can now choose the option of Chat with a support agent on your web browser.
Important Note*: The Chat support team only works at certain work times, (Monday to Friday: 9am to 6pm. Saturday and Sunday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) so if the last window says you are not available, try to open it again the next day. If you prefer phone support, you can leave a phone number. That way, they can call you and help you. *
