Since Microsoft 11 update, my two Espson printers won't print, by USB or wireless. I have one printer at home and one at work. It acknowledges both printers, but it says SPOOLING and never prints. I have removed both printers and added them back. I have done updates from printers, turn off, turn on, and all I get is spooling. I can print from my iphone, so I know the Epson can print wireless. What's wrong with the new update Microsoft 11?!

Hello Yheymi Betancourt, thanks for posting this in our community.

It sounds like your Epson printer is stuck on "spooling" after the Windows 11 update. This issue can often be resolved by restarting the Print Spooler service, which clears stuck jobs and resets the service.

To do this, press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter. Find Print Spooler in the list, right-click it, and choose Stop. Then open File Explorer and navigate to C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS. You may need administrator rights to access this folder. Delete all files inside it. After that, go back to the Services window, right-click Print Spooler again, and choose Start.

If that doesn’t work, try reinstalling your Epson printer drivers. Sometimes Windows updates can corrupt or mismatch drivers. Go to Settings, then Apps, and find Installed Apps. Locate any Epson software and uninstall it. Then visit Epson’s official support site and download the latest driver for your printer model. Install it as Administrator and restart your PC.

I hope this helps resolve the issue on your device.

    Kind regards,

    John Oli
