Google Voice requiring Intune?

Hello, I am trying to use my google voice account set up through my employer. However, it is requiring that I download Intune for this process. I am unsure why, as none of my coworkers have had this issue. I have contacted my IT team, and they are also confused and unable to figure out why this is occurring. There is no reason for Intune to be on my device, especially when no one else has had to use it. I have a Samsung Galaxy 24+ and it is less than one year old. I am unsure of what the issue is and would appreciate any help you may be.

Thank you,

Gabby

    Hello Gabby,

Hope you got this sorted. If not, here are some things to check with the help of your IT.

If you have conditional access set with compliance policies, it could be possible that it prompts you to enroll to access when signed in from an organization account.

Try to figure out what Compliance policies and conditional access policies are targeted to your user account.

Also, your IT team can check the sign-in logs to figure out which policy it hits and the troubleshooting node on Intune to figure out the policies and restrictions applied for your user account.

    Refer to: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/identity/monitoring-health/concept-sign-ins

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/intune/intune-service/fundamentals/help-desk-operators

    Hope this helps!
