Please inspect all ports and connectors for any physical damage or loose fit. Try using different Thunderbolt ports on your Surface if available, and test with alternate certified Thunderbolt cables to rule out cable issues.
To reset the Thunderbolt connection, disconnect all Thunderbolt devices, shut down your Surface completely (not just restart), wait for about 30 seconds, then boot it back up and reconnect your devices one at a time.
You can also run the Surface Diagnostic Toolkit, available from Microsoft Support. This tool checks for hardware, firmware, and driver issues specific to Surface devices and can help identify underlying problems.
If the issue persist, try clearing your display cache.
