How do i get read aloud to read highlighted text in a pdf

read aloud wont work on my pdfs. and when it does and it wont read my highlighted text it reads the pdf from the very start

    Hi Ryan,

    If you’re using the Read Aloud button, that might be why it’s reading the whole page. To read only part of the text, right-click the highlighted section and select More tools > Read aloud selection.
