Can I retrieve photos which appear to have been deleted from One Drive when it was frozen in March 2019 due to be over the size limit?

In March 2019 I received the attached email saying that my account would be frozen as it was 57.1 GB over the storage limit. I had a lot of photos stored in OneDrive at the time, which was what had taken it over the limit - but couldn't easily download them to my computer. Are these photos now permanently deleted, or is there any way of retrieving them temporarily in order to download them?

    Hi,

My name is Igor. It's a pleasure for me to help others and I'll try to help you. I am merely a fellow user trying to provide insight and information that may be helpful to others.

Unfortunately, recovering is not possible. Microsoft warns at https://support.microsoft.com/office/microsoft-storage-quotas-8f2f9d72-04d1-4223-a5ae-c2fdd26dd770 - After 6 months, we may delete your OneDrive and all files within it. Once deleted, these files are non-recoverable.

It is simple. If you do not see your files - this happened. While you can see files - this did not happen yet.
