If facial recognition isn’t working on your lock screen, please try the following steps:
- Go to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options > Facial Recognition (Windows Hello Face) and re-train your facial data under “Improve recognition.”
- Ensure your device’s camera drivers are up to date—open Device Manager, expand Cameras, right-click your camera, and select Update driver.
- Check for any pending Windows Updates, as these often include biometric performance fixes.
- If the issue persists, you can temporarily remove and re-add facial recognition under the same Sign-in options menu.
