Hi @yy2012 Wong
Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.
I understand how the time indicator appearing between Nov 2 at 3 PM and Nov 3 at 4 PM can look confusing in the weekly view.
This behavior is related to Daylight Saving Time (DST) adjustments. In regions that observe DST, clocks “fall back” by one hour on Sunday, November 2, 2025.
Microsoft Teams and Outlook calendars account for this change internally, which can cause the weekly grid to appear slightly misaligned:
- The weekly view uses a continuous time grid across all days.
- When DST ends, an extra hour is introduced (1 AM occurs twice), and the calendar compensates for this internally.
- This adjustment can make the horizontal alignment look off, even though the actual event times remain accurate.
Note: Most U.S. states observe DST, but Arizona and Hawaii do not. If your account is set to a region that observes DST while you are in a non-DST region, this visual offset can appear.
Here are some steps you can try to migrate this:
- This is a visual effect in weekly view only; your scheduled meetings and reminders are not impacted.
- If you prefer to avoid this confusion, switching to Day view for November 2 will show the repeated hour clearly.
- Update your time zone in Outlook settings:
- Settings → View all Outlook settings → General → Language and time → Time zone.
- You can double-check two things:
- Your computer's system time zone (Teams often syncs with this).
- Your Outlook on the Web time zone (this controls all your Microsoft 365 calendar data).
- Settings → View all Outlook settings → General → Language and time → Time zone.
I hope this information is helpful. Please follow these steps and let me know if it works for you. If not, we can work together to resolve this.
