Microsoft Edge slow

Re my earlier Edge problem.

Edge is now opening, but 2 concerns.

1: It is so slow to open searches.

2: I feel that the browser is not cleaning.

Have followed numerous instructions to speed up Windows, but no success.

Have supplied screen shots of the Edge browser clean up.

You will notice that is says it is calculating, and this does not stop.

Help, please.

    Hello,

    I believe what might be causing the slowdowns are the antivirus plugins that you have, both Malwarebytes and Norton browsers plugins are installed, normally you should only have one antivirus, having two run at the same time will scan the links twice, and will be doing the same job twice for double the effort and likely the same result.

    I suggest removing one of the antivirus plugins, it should get your edge running back at normal speeds.

    Have used both Malwarebytes and Norton together for years and did not notice any problems before.

    Would like to keep both.
