Hello, In recent times, i started receiving messages on my Samsung phones saying:

"Check your Microsoft account

We couldn't connect to your Microsoft account.

Tap here to fix this."

Then after following all intsructions and eventually signing in with my passowrd or my Biometrics, I then receive a message saying; "Unavailable account"

Then the following message;

Your Microsoft account is already linked to a Samsung

account. You can only connect one account to a Samsung

account. To remove it, go to Microsoft account settings.

Then it says:

Sign in with another Microsoft account.

When I go to Microsoft account settings - I am confused what to do there, it shows 2 options

  1. change password <-- I have already done this, it still does not resolve the issues.
  2. Two-step verification, Manage> I have just re-done this 2 step verification.... I will update here if the problem is not resolved.

Thanks in advance if anyone has more information/help on this subject. 🙏

It seems that you are experiencing issues with your Microsoft account being linked to a Samsung account, which is preventing you from accessing it properly. Here are a few steps you can take to resolve this issue:

    1. Check Account Linking: Since the message indicates that your Microsoft account is already linked to a Samsung account, you may need to unlink it from the Samsung account. You can do this by going to the Microsoft account settings and looking for options related to linked accounts.
    2. Remove and Re-add Account: If you can access your Microsoft account settings, try removing the Samsung account link and then re-adding it. This might refresh the connection and resolve the "Unavailable account" issue.
    3. Password and Two-Step Verification: Since you've already changed your password and re-verified your two-step verification, ensure that the new credentials are being used correctly when signing in. Sometimes, signing out completely and then signing back in can help.
    4. Contact Support: If the issue persists, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for further assistance. They can provide specific guidance based on your account status and help resolve any underlying issues.
    5. Use a Different Account: If you have another Microsoft account, you might want to try signing in with that account to see if the issue is specific to the current account.

Make sure to follow the instructions carefully and keep your account information secure while troubleshooting.
