Well to start it off Microsoft has now changed the definition of human error to bug hence closing 2 support chats due to windows 10. I was in task manager when i noticed in Microsoft edge the search index was getting 10 to 30% memory so i closed multiple times due to it restarting again causing same issue so i went services in stop manager and stopped it low and behold it started again less than a minute. So i went nuclear went to its properties then security and got rid of its entire inheritance the caused msedge.exe to stop working taking off its permissions. So i went to mf edge app in settings to repair it but even with admin privilege i wasn't allowed to fix it,

It sounds like you've encountered a significant issue with Microsoft Edge and the Windows Search index after modifying security settings. Here are some steps you can take to potentially resolve the problem:

    1. Restore Permissions: Since you removed inheritance and possibly altered permissions, try restoring the original permissions for the Microsoft Edge application. You can do this by going back to the properties of the Edge executable, navigating to the Security tab, and re-enabling inheritance.
    2. Repair Microsoft Edge: If you haven't been able to repair Edge through the settings, you might try reinstalling it. You can do this by going to the Apps & Features settings, finding Microsoft Edge, and selecting the option to uninstall. After that, download the latest version from the official Microsoft website.
    3. Check Windows Search Service: Ensure that the Windows Search service is running properly. You can do this by typing services.msc in the Run dialog (Win + R) and looking for the Windows Search service. Make sure it is set to start automatically and is currently running.
    4. Regenerate Search Index: If the search index is corrupted, you may need to regenerate it. You can do this by going to Control Panel > Indexing Options > Advanced and selecting the option to rebuild the index.
    5. Use System Restore: If the issue persists, consider using System Restore to revert your system to a point before the changes were made. This can help restore the original settings and permissions.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may want to consider reaching out to Microsoft Support for further assistance.
