How do I stop Voice Access from writing "IT" when I say "it"

I don't know why Voice Access automatically converts "it" into "IT." It's very frustrating. I don't see any obvious way to make it stop. Copilot did the same thing, but at least I could instruct it not to. But after that, I also had to tell it that when I spell I-T to write IT. I shouldn't need to do that. I don't have this issue with Office Dictate.

How do I fix this?

    Hello Antonia Martinez

As far as I know, there isn’t currently a user-facing toggle to disable this specific capitalization behavior.

This is one of those cases where 'Change the players, not the game' applies, don’t you think? 😆 Well, by saying that, I mean, you might try adjusting your speech cadence, try speaking “it” more fluidly within the sentence to reduce misinterpretation. Additionally, ensure that your system is fully updated via Settings > Windows Update, as recent patches have addressed some Voice Access quirks.

    Harry.
