    Hi Kim,

The easiest way is to have Edge reopen your last session automatically.

Open Edge and select Settings > Start > home > new tabs. Under When Edge starts, choose Open tabs from the previous session. Close Edge without manually closing your grouped tabs. Just exit the window. Open Edge again. Your tab groups, names, and colors should be restored exactly as before.

If Edge ever starts clean, press Ctrl+Shift+T to reopen the last closed window and bring the previous session back, groups included.

Let me know if this works!

To make the groups you define in Microsoft Edge permanent and ensure they persist after restarts, you can use the Tab Groups feature. When you create a Tab Group, it should be saved automatically, allowing you to return to it after closing and reopening the browser. However, if you want to ensure that your groups are retained, you should also consider enabling the Sync feature in Edge, which helps keep your settings and data consistent across devices.

If you're experiencing issues with groups not saving, ensure that your browser is updated to the latest version and that there are no conflicting settings that might affect the behavior of Tab Groups.
