On Android OneDrive app I have the option for "PremiumPositioning". What notification am I opting into here?

Very alarmed that there is an option to get notifications for something that has no explanation at all on Microsoft sites or the wider web. What is this "PremiumPositioning" notification option and where can I learn more about it? Why isn't this information readily available?

Thanks for responding. Weird to think an experimental feature is classed as OK to roll out on an app before anything is announced about its purpose or any documentation shared about it. I'd not realised this was normal behaviour. I kind of guessed similar to your suggestions regarding its likely function, but how mad is it we are left to guess? Such is modern life, then. At the behest of decisions outside our control for the things in our pockets. A bit like I've just found out/noticed OneDrive is reading all the text in any photograph I have ever backed up there... I don't remember them asking me if that was cool, either. It just happened. Seems invasive and creepy. Also useful, like the face and object recognition it is doing to my photos, too, but like I say, not optional or mentioned ahead of time.
