Taskbar in Windows 11 - unmovable and so frustrating!

Is there any discussion regarding the ability to move the Taskbar to different sections of the screen (top, left, right, bottom) in Windows 11, as it was in Windows 10? This limitation is quite disappointing and is impacting my productivity during daily tasks. PLEASE make this adjustment ASAP - you'll have so many happy people if you make this right again.

    Hi Jennifer Mullen

Thank you for your feedback about the Taskbar positioning in Windows 11 , I completely understand how this change can affect your workflow.

At this time, Windows 11 supports the Taskbar being docked at the bottom of the screen only. However, our engineering and design teams are actively reviewing feedback from users like you about restoring the ability to move the Taskbar to other screen edges (top, left, or right), as was possible in Windows 10. This feedback has been one of the most discussed topics in the Windows Feedback Hub, and it continues to inform our future design considerations.

While I can’t share specific timelines or commitments, please know that your input truly helps us prioritize features that improve productivity and usability. I’d also encourage you to submit or upvote related suggestions in the Feedback Hub app (Win + F) so your voice is counted directly in our data.

I hope this clarifies the current status and shows that your feedback is being heard. If this explanation helps, please click “Accept Answer” so others can easily find it too.
