transfer skype to teams

I have been trying to get my us skype tel # transfered to Teams since May 2025 before skype retired and have not been able to do so.

I need to use the same tel # for teams, free or paid. Please advise. I have sent many help requests with no response.

    Skype Number cannot be transferred to Teams Free personal account. Teams Free does not support phone calling options.

    Phone calling options are only available in Teams Business with an appropriate phoning licence.
