How can I move One Drive files from expired account to my PC and where should they be stored?

I did not renew my subscription to Office 365 and purchased Home Office instead. I want to move my One Drive files to my computer. I do not want to lose them! How can I do that and where should they be transferred to?

    You can do this by signing in to the account on your OneDrive app or OneDrive Online, then moving or downloading the files. Here are the options:

    Download files and folders from OneDrive or SharePoint

    Move files to a new Windows PC using OneDrive
