home page search bar problem

I set google search engine as default, but "This" thing always searches on Bing. I always have to make searches from address bar which is annoying and don't get the last searched sheet (sry idk the name). Is there a way to fix "this" to search on google and not on Bing.

    Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A Forum. I understand that you want to change your search bar in landing page. Unfortunately, the default Edge home page cannot change search engine.

    But if you still want to change completely landing page, you can try this: Custom New Tab - Microsoft Edge Addons. Disclaimer: This is 3rd extension that does not belong to Microsoft. Please be careful with any suspicious links or activities can appear while using this.

    Moreover, you can go to this setting: edge://settings/startHomeNTP to change Home button and opening page if needed.
