My onedrive devices don't appear on my "devices" page. I am signed in to 3 devices, but only 1 shows on my "devices" tab.

I was doing a security checkup, and wanted to make sure no extra devices were using my onedrive.

I am signed in to 3 devices, but only was is visible on my onedrive (Microsoft 365) devices tab.

How can I accurately see every device that is signed into my onedrive?

    Hi,

To accurately see every device signed into your personal OneDrive (Microsoft 365) account, the most reliable method is to check your Microsoft account's sign-in activity page, as the "Devices" tab may not list all connected devices with active sync sessions.

Steps to Verify All Connected Devices

    1. Go to the Microsoft Account Security page: Open a web browser and navigate to the Microsoft Account security dashboard.
    2. Sign in: Enter your Microsoft account credentials if prompted.
    3. Review sign-in activity: Under the "Sign-in activity" section, select Review activity.
    4. Examine the list: This page displays a comprehensive list of all recent sign-ins, including successful and unsuccessful attempts, the operating system used, location, IP address, and when the activity occurred.

This activity log provides more detailed and real-time information about devices accessing your account than the general "Devices" page, which primarily lists registered Windows devices.

Why Devices Might Be Missing from the "Devices" Tab

The "Devices" page at account.microsoft.com/devices is mainly for managing Windows 10/11 PCs, Xbox consoles, and Surface devices that are registered to your account. Some issues that prevent devices from appearing here include:

    • The device is signed in using a local account instead of the Microsoft account.
    • The device is not running Windows or is a non-Windows device (e.g., some phones or older systems).
    • There's a delay in synchronization or a recent system reset was performed on the device.

Checking the Sign-in activity page is the most direct and reliable way to monitor all access to your account, including OneDrive sync sessions.

    Hope that this information helps,

    Kind regards,
