Why do I get repeated information that hasn't worked yet about my 1 drive issue?

I have asked questions about my files that are missing from my PC because One Drive "stole" them.

I am quite thankful for the replies I have gotten, but they all contain help tips I have already tried and found unsuccessful.

Cannot some tech savvy Microsoft employee give me a different reply than what I have already tried. Or call me and help me step by step like the 1 tech support lady who works for microsoft tried.

She started a download of EVERYTHING One Drive had taken from me, but the download got to 90% done when I get cut off. I have no idea what files I got and what I did not get. But she told me, when the download was done, what to do to prevent this from happening again.

I REALLY need help. Daily more and more of my files and photos are "stolen" by One drive. Most are documents I need for future reference and my photos are precious grandkid pics. Can no one help me?

    Hi Teri Markanson,

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A Forum and sharing your experience.

Since you mentioned wanting step‑by‑step support, the best way to get personalized assistance is to contact Microsoft Support directly. They can walk you through the recovery process in real time, just like the representative who helped you before. You can reach them at support.microsoft.com > Briefly describe your issue > Enter > Scroll down to find "Contact Support" and request a call.

I know this situation has been stressful, and I want to reassure you that your files are not lost, they should still be accessible through OneDrive. With the steps above and direct support, you’ll be able to recover them and set things up so this doesn’t happen again.

I hope this time things will work out for you.

Microsoft support only give me the same steps I've tried repeatedly before without results.

Why do I get repeated information that has not helped me in the past. I'd really like to speak to a real Tech support human instead of asking and getting the same reply over and over again.
