I was notified about a teams account with my name and Linkedin Profile picture trying to offer campaigns to people pretending to be me. (essentially anyone who believes it is my teams account will get SCAMMED because this person pretending to be me will not pay them out).
I contacted Microsoft teams IMMEDIATELY when I was notified by several people..Teams support had me upload my Drivers license, the chat of the person impersonating me, and as well I uploaded my Linkedin Profile to show the photo this person is using is my profile picture (my linkedIn is also attached to my real teams, you can click and be redirected to my profile, you can only do this if you log into the Linkedin account itself). At the first request I could not see the email address this person is using it showed "this information is hidden".
The teams response was
We’ve determined that it was not a violation of our terms. If you are still concerned about another user’s shared content, please report it once more.
another week goes by and more publishers I know are asking me about messages they received from me, THE FAKE IMPERSONATOR ACCOUNT..and now I can see the email address they are using as well.
Again shared screenshots of these conversations where they are offering people campaigns with my photo as the display and my name!!!
I did another request with teams sharing the proof of my identity, and proof including email the impersonator is using to pretend to be me and again,
