I have been using a KVM switch connected to my Surface Laptop 5 for a year now without issue via USB-C to USB-C cabling). Today, the video output stopped working through the switch. My personal (PC) laptop still works fine with the switch. Additionally, I can connect the Surface directly to my monitor and it will output the picture without issue.
Is there a setting/driver download or other issue that could have been changed and is preventing the video output that has worked for some time?
We haven't changed any hardware/cabling. It was working for part of the day and the stopped.

2025-11-18T01:38:49.7466667+00:00 I have tried both ports on the KVM switch as well as using a second cable (that is working with my other laptop) without success.

2025-11-18T02:26:18.55+00:00 ** Update. We seem to have solved the issue by switching out the HDMI cable (from the switch to the monitor) to a Display Port cable.
