HOW TO QUITE MICRO SOFT WORD SO LAPTOP WILL SHUT DOWN

If you’re trying to close Word on your Mac before shutting it down, you can try the steps below: 

-Press Command + Option + Esc on your keyboard to open the “Force Quit Applications” window. 

-Select Microsoft Word from the list. 

-Click Force Quit. 

After that, try shutting down your Mac again.

To quit Microsoft Word so that your laptop can shut down, you can follow these steps:

1. Close Microsoft Word: Click on the File menu in the top left corner and select Close. Alternatively, you can click the X button in the upper right corner of the Word window.
2. Save Changes: If prompted, choose whether to save any unsaved changes to your documents.
3. Shut Down Your Laptop: After closing Word, you can proceed to shut down your laptop by clicking on the Start menu, selecting Power, and then choosing Shut down.

If you encounter any issues while shutting down, such as an error message related to explorer.exe, it may not affect the shutdown process, and you can safely ignore it as the shutdown will continue.
