Hello, for some reason I am unable to add someone as a co-organiser. I want to add other users as co-organisers, so that I don't have to be the only one able to start a meeting.

    Hi @RCN Theological Seminary

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum. To make sure I understand correctly: in the screenshot you provided, you’re unable to type or select anyone in the “Choose co-organizers” field, is that right? Also, could you confirm if you’ve already added the users you want as co-organizers under the Required Attendees field?

If not, here’s an important detail that often gets overlooked: Co-organizers must first be included as required attendees in the meeting invite; only then will they appear in the “Choose co-organizers” picker. Please try these steps:

    • Open your meeting details in Teams Calendar.
    • Add the users you want as co-organizers under the Required Attendees field.

    • Save and send the invitations.
    • Wait a moment for the system to sync, then check the co-organizer picker again.

For more guidance, you can refer to this article: Add co-organizers to a meeting in Microsoft Teams - Microsoft Support

If you’ve already tried these steps or if the names still don’t appear after syncing, please feel free to reply here. I’ll be happy to assist further.

Thank you again for posting, and I hope this helps make things easier for you!
