Screenshots.pdfI’m writing to share the full details of the issue I’m facing with Microsoft Rewards.

It happened on 3rd November 2025, I was exploring the opt-out policy and reached the page where two options were presented:

Opt out

Stay in

I clicked on “Stay in”, but instead of a confirmation page, I was immediately shown a message saying “You are no longer a part of this policy.” After that, all my reward points vanished. However, my Gold member status, previous orders, auto-redeem settings, and other account data remained intact.

To verify whether this was a one-time glitch, I conducted a test using a second account which i created solely for this test. I earned 30 points, then went to the opt-out page and clicked opt out then again choose stay in instead of opt out to test it more deeply. Despite this, all my points disappeared again—but the activities I completed earlier and all the history were still visible along with points credited history.

This suggests there may be a bug or error in the opt-out menu, where clicking “Stay in” or “Cancel” still triggers a silent opt-out and wipes the points, even though the account remains active.

I’ve attached a screenshots in pdf format showing the current status of my account. Please let me know if you need any additional information. And still till now I am earning points on the basis of gold member status.

I also raised a query in microsoft reward support team on the same date but none came with any reply till today. My Service Request no. is 7090427267.Screenshots.pdf

I’d appreciate your help in recovering the lost points and investigating the opt-out flow issue.

Warm regards,

Anurag

    Hi,

Please try accessing the MS rewards site using a different web browser or device, such as a phone. I recommend checking the Bing app as well. This will help determine if the issue is specific to a certain browser or device.

If you continue to experience the problem, please wait for a response from MS Rewards. It may be an account-related issue, and only MS Rewards support can assist you further. They typically take some time to respond due to the high volume of support tickets they receive and review, but rest assured that the ticket you submitted will receive a response.

If you still not received a response from them after a few days, please submit again.

If you require further assistance, please don't hesitate to let me know.

    Stay Safe!
