How do I combine Chats and Meeting chats into one in Teams

We just had Teams Early access update to Version 25306.804.4102.7193. When going into Chat area the Chats and Meeting chats are now in separate sections and I do not see any settings to set them back to combined. Can we please either role back to the previous combined Chat or give the option in settings to keep them separate. Having to flip between the Chats and Meeting chats sub sections wastes a lot more time.

    Dear Prucha, Michael (CBS-Virginia),

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A.

Based on your description, I understand that after the recent Teams update, your Chats and Meeting chats now appear in separate sections, and you’d prefer to have them combined again.

Please go to Chat > at the top of the list, look for the filter “lozenges” such as: Unread Chats Meeting chats

User's image If Meetings (or Chats) is highlighted, click it again to turn it off. When filters are disabled, meeting chats should appear together with your regular chats in one combined list.

If this doesn’t resolve it, could you please share a screenshot of your Chat view (with any personal info blurred) so I can confirm the layout and guide you more accurately?

I hope this information helps point you in the right direction. If you run into any issues while trying the steps, or if something still doesn’t feel quite right, please don’t hesitate to reach out again. I’ll do my best to support you however I can.

Looking forward to hearing back from you with any updates or additional details.

    Warm regards,
