How do I see my Teams, in Teams?

Back in the day, MS Teams would display all of the teams you belonged to and managed in the left column. You could manage members, see activity, etc. Recently, this went away. Now all we can see is Activity, Chat, Calendar, and whatever apps you have added. How do I manage my teams to add members? Every support article is out of date, they all reference options that are no longer part of Teams.

AI suggested: "At the bottom of your teams list, next to Join or create a team, select Manage teams. This will take you to a view where you can see all the teams you are a member or owner of."

This option does not exist. I have found that I can see all teams if I use the online version of Teams, but no the desktop App.

    Hi @David Schneider,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Based or your description, the behavior you’re seeing is due to the "Viewing chats, teams, and channels" setting in Teams app, which merges Chats and Channels into one list. If you prefer the classic layout where Teams are shown separately, you can switch back easily by following this:

1/ In Teams, click the three dots icon (...) next to your profile picture (top-right corner).

    2/ Select Settings.
    User's image

3/ Go to Chat and Channels.

4/ Under View, change from Combined to Separate.
    User's image

5/ Restart Teams for the change to take effect.

After switching to Separate, you’ll see the Teams tab again in the left navigation, and you can manage members by selecting More options (…) > Manage team.

I hope this information is helpful. Please follow these steps and let me know if it works for you. If not, we can work together to resolve this.

Thank you for your patience and your understanding. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to share them in the comments on this post so I can continue to support you.

I look forward to continuing the conversation.
